Neem Oil for Dogs?
I got some organic pure neem oil to use as a flea & tick preventative for my dogs and I am looking for instructions / suggestions / recipes on how to make a neem spray. I don't suppose it can be mixed with water alone? What if I shake the solution before and during application to keep the oil & water mixed? What can I use as an emulsifier? Thanks!

You can keep it in suspension relatively easily, but don't make more than you expect to use in 24 hours. Another option is adding it to your dog's shampoo (a couple of drops per eight ounces). You can also add another carrier oil and some essential oils to the neem to cover up the smell and using it like Revolution on your dog. That's how we use ours, it needs to applied weekly but we've been delighted with the results. There isn't anything there about fleas but www.usingneem.com has a lot of information available.
