Clean the surfaces well where the oils were used. The odor may linger but the oil will not contaminate food.
You are correct to be worried as essential oils can be dangerous if you allow them to be absorbed into your skin, undiluted. Or of course ingest them.
The odor should leave the area eventually.
In the meantime, open a window slightly and tell the roomy no more perfume making indoors.
