How do you cure greasy hair & scalp?
I'm 12 and I have really greasy hair and greasy scalp, It doesn't look like grease in my hair but i hate the way it feels. I tried a shampoo to stop the grease but i read somewhere else that a chemical in it was too harsh and i think it was correct so i stopped using it, after about of week of non-greasy hair, my hair became greasy again....please help!
when i was your age i always had greasy hair and scalp because i wasn't rinsing the conditioner out properly. so try making sure it's well washed out if you use it, or just stop using it altogether.
also, try a baby shampoo or something like that, i find that johnson's baby shampoo is brilliant because it leaves my hair soft and shiny and light and not greasy at all!
talcum powder/baby powder/baking soda are all good too, for rubbing onto the scalp and roots to dry out grease, but they're only short term, and you don't really want to have to do that every day!
one thing that i've noticed with my hair, however random this might seem, is that when i crimp it, it doesn't become greasy! at all! (well, it probably would eventually, but after 3 days it wasn't greasy yet, but i still washed it anyway of course!) so try crimping your hair and see if that works! (i mean actually crimping it, with a crimper, not plaiting it to get loose crimps!)
